# Manatal

Our Manatal integration connects jobs, candidates, and matches to Alex, allowing you to sync data between platforms.

### Set Up the Integration

To get started, you'll need to connect your Manatal account to Alex.

#### Retrieve Your API Key from Manatal

1. Log in to Manatal with an admin account.
2. Navigate to **Administration** > **Manage Features** > **Open API**.
3. On this page, you can either copy an existing API Key or create a new one.

#### Connect Manatal in Alex

1. In Alex, navigate to **Settings** > **Integrations** > **Manatal**.
2. Paste your API Key into the **API Key** field.
3. Click **Test Connection** to verify that the credentials are valid.
4. Once the connection is successful, click **Connect** to save the integration.

### Configure Automations

The Manatal integration allows you to automate several key actions, helping you save time and keep your data synchronized. These automations are configured within your Alex Workflows.

#### Automatic Interview Creation

You can configure Alex to automatically create a new interview whenever a new job is added in Manatal. This is particularly useful for high-volume roles where you want to start interviewing candidates as quickly as possible.

#### Automatic Candidate Invites

Automatically invite candidates to an interview when they are matched to a job in Manatal. In your [application workflow](/workflows/overview) you can control which candidates receive an invitation, such as:

* **Filter conditions:** Filter candidates based on fields in the Manatal Job, Candidate, or Match records.
* **Resume fit:** Add a condition requiring a minimum resume score before a candidate is invited.
* **Delay:** Add a **Wait** before an invitation is sent.

#### Actions After an Interview

Once a candidate completes an interview, you can automate actions in Manatal:

* **Update a Field:** Automatically change the value of a field on a Job, Candidate, or Match. For example, you can move a Match to the "HR Interview" stage.
* **Add a Note:** Add a note to the candidate's Match record, such as "AI Interview Complete."
* **Upload PDF Report:** Attach the candidate's full interview report as a PDF to their profile.
* **Map Interview Data:** Sync specific data points from the interview, like scores or answers, to corresponding fields in Manatal.

#### Actions for Interview Progress and Decisions

You can also trigger actions in Manatal based on other interview events:

* When an interview is **scheduled** or **missed**.
* When you **shortlist** or **reject** a candidate in Alex.
