Integrating Crelate helps you keep your recruiting data perfectly in sync. By connecting jobs, candidates, and their application statuses between Crelate and Alex, you can automate interview invitations and create more efficient workflows. How to Set Up the Crelate Integration

Step 1: Retrieve and Enter Your API Key

To connect your accounts, you’ll first need to get your unique API key from Crelate.
  1. Log into Crelate using an Admin account.
  2. Go to your user API settings page (typically at https://app.crelate.com/go#user/userapi).
  3. Enable API access and copy your API Key.
  4. In the Alex application, navigate to Settings → Integrations → Crelate.
  5. Paste your key into the API Key field and click Connect. A successful connection message will appear once your credentials are saved.

Step 2: Configure Your Automations

Once connected, you can set up automations to accelerate your hiring process. These automations are configured within your Workflows.
  • Automatically Invite Candidates You can automatically invite candidates to complete an Alex interview after they apply to a role in Crelate. This is the most common automation and a powerful way to improve your team’s efficiency.
  • Automatically Create Interviews You can automatically create Alex interviews whenever a job is added or updated in Crelate. This is helpful for high-volume roles where you need to create new interviews frequently.
    Tip: It’s a good practice to start by creating interviews manually to get comfortable with the process before enabling this automation.
