- Automated Interview Invites: When a new application is created in Lever, Alex automatically sends an interview invitation to the candidate. A note is added to the candidate’s opportunity in Lever to confirm that an invite has been sent.
- Interview Results in Lever: Once an interview is completed, Alex updates the candidate’s opportunity in Lever with the following actions:
- Adds a note containing the interview score, detailed feedback, and a link to the full report.
- Attaches a PDF of the interview report to the opportunity.
How to Set Up the Integration
You can connect your Lever account in just a few steps.-
Connect to Lever
- In Alex, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
- Select Lever from the list of available integrations.
- Click Connect to Lever.
- You will be redirected to Lever to enter your credentials and authorize the connection.

Configure Webhooks in Lever
- In your Lever account, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks.
- Enable both the Application Created and Candidate Stage Change webhooks.

By default, an interview invitation goes out when a new application is created in Lever. Refine this with a Filter condition on the new-application block — for example, only invite candidates who are in a specific Lever stage, so only qualified individuals receive an invitation.Customizing actions in Lever
At different points in the interview process you can add Lever actions to your workflow — for example, on the Interview Completed trigger or a decision change. Available actions include:- Updating an opportunity’s stage.
- Creating a note containing the interview score and report link.
- Attaching the interview report to the opportunity.
