Job-Level Workflow View
Every job in Alex has a Workflow tab. This is a read-only view of the application workflow attached to that job, designed to show you how candidates are progressing through the workflow in real time.Candidate Counts
On each trigger and action in the workflow, you’ll see a number badge indicating how many candidates are currently at that stage. This gives you immediate visibility into:- Where candidates are in the process
- Bottlenecks where candidates may be stuck
- Flow patterns showing how candidates move through your workflow
Changing the Workflow
From the job’s Workflow tab, you can:- Change Workflow — switch this job to a different application workflow
- Open Workflow — open the workflow editor to make changes (changes will apply to all jobs using this workflow)
Candidate Progress
Click on any candidate in the job’s Workflow tab to see their individual journey through the workflow. The progress panel shows:- Candidate information — name, email, and current status
- Current step — which action the candidate is currently at, and how long they’ve been there
- Workflow Progress timeline — every trigger and action the candidate has passed through, with:
- The name of each step
- The exact timestamp it was executed
- A status indicator (green for success, red for failure)
- Debugging — understanding why a candidate is in a particular state
- Transparency — seeing exactly what Alex did and when
- Identifying issues — spotting failed actions (shown in red) that may need attention
- Workflow optimization — understanding the typical candidate path to improve your workflow
Workflow History
Every workflow has a History tab that provides a complete audit log of all changes made since the workflow was created. The history tab shows:- Who made the change
- When the change was made
- What was changed — you can expand each entry to see the specific additions, removals, and modifications
- Green (Added) — new triggers or actions that were added
- Red (Removed) — triggers or actions that were removed
- Blue (Changed) — existing items that were modified
